A YACHT CHARTER VACATION

Chartering a yacht is the perfect way to relax and unwind. No set itineraries, no waiting in lines and never any crowds to deal with. Just you and perhaps a few friends doing what you want to do, when you want to do it. Communing with nature and with each other. Visiting the quiet coves and deserted beaches only accessible to yachts such as yours.

Be prepared for a vacation that's totally unstructured. You can plan each day as it comes, with plenty of things to do from the more strenuous activities like windsurfing, waterskiing, snorkeling or SCUBA diving, to exploring ashore on foot or by car, spending some quality time with your loved ones, reading a good book, or relaxing with friends. Think of the charter yacht as your own private floating hotel, ready to take you on an island adventure.

THE YACHTS

Choose from sail or power, in sizes ranging from 35' to 290' suitable for as few as two, or as many as twenty. For groups lager than 20; you can charter several yachts to accommodate your party and have a tandem voyage. Your choice can vary from the ultra luxurious to the sleek racer, from the custom-built charter yacht to the classic schooner. The secret is knowing which one to choose and we recommend only the best.

YOUR CREW

Consider the crew as your expert guides, who will share their knowledge of the islands with you. They can take an enjoyable charter and turn it into a delightful, unforgettable experience. Many crews have particular interest in the ecology of the area, the history or the local culture and have a love of people and sailing. Charters arrive as guest and leave as friends, and yet, the crew remains ever professional.

FOOD

Food is always important and we will be sending you detailed preference sheets that are sent to the chef before the charter begin so that allergies, special diets, food and beverages preferences can be taken into consideration when the crew is provisioning for your vacation. Some yachts specialize in different styles of cuisine, true gourmet, a lighter ënouvelle cuisine or home style, white glove service or something more casual.

WHERE TO GO

A majority of firsttime charters choose the Caribbean for their destinations because of predictably good weather, crystal-clear waters, and lush tropical islands. Other charter areas are: Florida Keys, Bahamas, San Blas Islands(Panama), Greek Islands, French Riviera, Turkish, Seychelles, Society Islands, etc.

CHARTER TERMS

Standard Caribbean Terms

The charter fee includes the charter of the yacht with all its equipment in working order, all food, crew, diesel, waters sports(SCUBA is extra). Most yachts in the Virgin Islands also include wine and bar, excluding vintages wines and champagne.

Not included: marina-type berthing, communication, land transportation, etc.

Western Mediterranean Terms

The charter fee includes the charter of the yacht with all its equipment in working order, the crew's wages, food for the crew, and insurance.

The Charterer will be charged extra, at cost to the yacht, for all other expenses during the charter.

Standard Eastern Mediterranean Terms

The charter fee includes the charter of the yacht with all its equipment in working order, insurance, crew wages, fuel for up to five hours cruising per day, berthing dues and others harbors charges.(The arrangement about fuel charges sometimes vary.)

The Charterer will be charged extra, at cost to the yacht, for all other expenses.
