Description
Air (ex-QM of London) is the finest of the Benetti Golden Bay series. The spectacular Owner's suite runs the entire width of the top deck. This unique layout proves extremely popular with charter guests. On the main deck are 2 elegant VIP staterooms with queen size beds. She is the perfect charter vessel complimented by her professional crew who will ensure you clients a memorable cruise. In Spring 2017, after the name change to AIR from QM of London, the main saloon and master cabin were refitted, now blues, reds and whites fill the space. All exterior deck cushions have been changed to a more nautical theme. The 2014/15 winter refit was born out of a desire to restore AIR to an “as new” standard and cement her reputation as a premier charter yacht in the industry. We are extremely pleased with the result of all their efforts and are determined to keep improving the yacht and the service they can provide to guests. During this refit, some of the bigger jobs we undertook included: • Fabricated and installed a bulbous bow for smoother cruising • Restored the original colour scheme to the exterior with jet black around the Owner’s windows and bridge giving AIR a much sleeker look. • Replaced areas of teak and sanded all decks • Replaced the corian in all exterior tables • Rebuilt and installed a vast amount of the interior joinery in the guest cabins and communal areas • Upgraded our IT network and increased the bandwidth available to the guests so we really do have high speed internet all through the yacht. • Huge upgrade of our AV equipment with Bang and Olufsen TV’s, Kaleidescape, Sky and FTA recievers, Apple TV etc • Installed a massive pop up TV in the BDA bar. • Acquired a new custom built 10.4m Scorpion Chase boat. • Acquired a variety of water sports toy including slide, jet surfer, kitesurfing equipment, fly boards, sea bobs, inflatables for towing, kayaks • Acquired new technogym running machine and elliptical • Redid exterior lighting • Refitted the galley with all new equipment • Installed a new passarelle
Stateroom Details
The spectacular Owner's suite runs the entire width of the bridge deck. The king-size double bed faces a 43 inch plasma screen TV . Beyond which is a large outdoor dining and seating area with bar, curved settee that is accessed via sliding doors. On the main deck are 2 elegant VIP staterooms with queen size beds, walk in wardrobe, vanity desk and a small seating area.. Each cabin boasts an ensuite bath or shower-room and twin basins. The lower deck has 4 guest cabins, one single/standard double bed and three twins. The double and aft twin have baths, the two forward twins have showers.
