Description
The Galapagos Sea Star Journey has a capacity of up to 16 passengers, featuring seven spacious Galapagos Suites – Matrimonial (approx. 25,2 m) and one Sea Star Suite (approx. 35,2 m) equipped with panoramic windows to enjoy the wonderful landscapes of the islands. These come with a private bathroom, hot/cold water, air conditioning (with independent controls), a minibar and TV. Twin beds (or one faux queen bed) and connected suites are available for families. Local and International dishes – especially designed by our chef – are served in the cozy atmosphere of our dining room. Our yacht offers a large solarium with shaded and uncovered areas, two Jacuzzis and comfortable sun loungers. Social areas include a Saloon, mini-library and video library as well as a play zone for kids (during family departures). Snorkeling equipment and kayaks are available too without any extra charge. Galapagos Sea Star Journey complies with local and international safety regulations. In addition, we implement sustainable practices throughout our journey to protect the fragile environment of the Galapagos archipelago. The entire boat has been renewed: new motors, encapsulated power generators, new floors, all new furniture and the balconies have been updated too. The Sea Star is the only small yacht with 2 jacuzzis and it also features a glass bottom zodiac, 8 twin sea kayaks, sun beds that could be used for glamping, a private dining area for couples. The kitchen is at the standard of any top restaurant. Almost 2 million dollars invested here, an investment comparable with building a new boat. It’s like it was launched the first time but with so many improvements. With confidence, I believe the Sea Star is not only the finest yacht in Galapagos but in South America. No other boat offers so much space and comfort per guest. On top of all, it has a Marine steel double hull, ensuring world class stability and safety. The crew went through a complete hospitality course at the ESPOL university in Guayaquil, they have been with us for over 10 years and fully understand the needs of a high touch traveler.
